To create your first prediction, you must be connected to thalox for marketers to your HubSpot instance. In you didn’t, you can find a helpful article here.
To be able to follow all the steps below, it is necessary to disable any pop-up blockers.
Create your first prediction
1) When you are about to create your first prediction, you will see the image below, where thalox for marketers congratulates you for connecting successfully to your HubSpot instance.
At this point, you just need to click the button “Create prediction”.
2) After that you will be redirected to the following page, where thalox for marketers will ask you to name the prediction and optionally add a description.
thalox for marketers advises you to name your prediction with a meaningful name to make it easier to find your previous predictions. thalox for marketers recommends, doing it the following way: Month-Year-Purpose. After naming the prediction you will be able to click the button “Create prediction” which will start the process of generating your results.
3) After clicking the button, thalox for marketers will extract the contact data from your HubSpot instance and start running our machine-learning algorithms to give each one of your contacts a Thalox Engagement Score, which will later allow us to separate your contact database into three segments.
For your first prediction ever, this whole process can take from 2 to 3 hours, depending on the amount of data extracted (volume of activities you might have in your database). After that, the process should take a few minutes since the data extract runs in the background. You don’t need to stay on this page waiting for the prediction to be concluded since you will be notified through e-mail once it’s done.
See results and push segments to HubSpot
4) Once the prediction is ready you will see a pie chart with your contacts distributed through all the segments. On the right side is the description of the action we recommend performing on each segment. Bellow that, you can see a button to push the segments to your HubSpot account. You must click on that button to proceed to the next step.
5) When you click that button, a pop-up will appear with an overview of the segments that you will be pushing to HubSpot, you need to click on the button “Upload” to finish this process.
Please bear in mind that it can take from 2 to 30 minutes for the segments to be visible in your HubSpot instance, and ready for you to use them. If you have successfully completed all the steps you will see the image below.
