How it works


thalox for marketers was built for HubSpot. To set up the connection with your HubSpot instance, you will be going through the HubSpot OAuth process of logging in, choosing the workspace you want to work on, and finally, connecting the app. This step will allow us to extract and analyze your audience contact data as well as their behaviour based on all digital historical activities using the latest artificial intelligence capabilities.

Running a prediction is simple and fast. It’s best to name it first, so you can keep track of all your predictions along with the campaigns you’re using within HubSpot. thalox for marketers will start running our machine learning algorithms on your contact data to give each of your contacts the thalox engagement score, which will later allow us to separate your contact database into three segments. This whole process can take from 5 to 120 minutes, based on the volume of activities you might have in your database.

Dormant Potential Segment

High Engagement Segment

Inactive or Indecisive Segment

In a matter of minutes, you get your results. One thing to bear in mind is the Thalox Engagement Score. The Thalox Engagement Score is a value between 0,00 to 1,00 which indicates the probability of a contact to react on your next campaign based on your last prediction. The higher this value is, the more likely it is for a contact to react.  


Dormant Potential Segment :

Concentrate your marketing efforts on this segment and ensure that these contacts engage strongly with your brand. Over time, you should move contacts from the dormant potential segment to the high-engagement segment. 

High Engagement Segment:

The contacts in this segment are very engaged with your brand and will likely engage with your e-mail marketing initiatives. Those segments could be used to test out new messaging.

Inactive or Indecisive Segment:

The contacts in this segment are either inactive contacts or indecisive about whether they want to interact with your brand or not. Our advice is to take a closer look at the contacts in this segment and consider deleting some of them. Over time, you should develop contacts from the indecisive or inactive segment to the dormant potential segment.

The final click is to push the segments into your HubSpot instance and start your campaigns!

  • Do you offer a trial before purchase?

    We do provide trials of our HubSpot Add-On. Normally the trial will last 30 days. If you need more time – no problem – please contact our Customer Support Team to prolong – >

  • Where can I find help?

    There a a bunch of articles in our knowledge base. We recommend to starting with the “Getting Started” section:

  • Where is my data stored?

    All your data is stored capsuled from other customer data on a AWS server in Frankfurt.

  • Which activities are consumed in the ML model?

    Currently we are taking the Email activity from your HubSpot system.

  • How many fields are included in the prediction model?

    There is no individual answer to that since our model is learning over time. That means the model could start with > 20 fields and over time the model is taking > 50 fields when it detects those are contributing to the model.

  • What is happening with my data when I do not want to prolong with the service?

    No – only of you want to prolong with our service

  • Do I have to provide my billing details during the trial period?

    No – only of you want to prolong with our service

  • What is the difference of HubSpot Score and thalox Score?

    Short answer: HubSpot Score is based on the input a marketers is putting into as a parameter. Thalox Score is the result of a machine learning algorithm with no human interaction. Our system is learning by itself. To know more – we are happy to jump on a call with you. Book a meeting here:

  • Do you have a special pricing for StartUps?

    Yes we do – please contact our sales team:

  • Is there a limit on the number of predictions per month?

    Currently we encourage you to do a weekly prediction to see your individual results, so that you can learn with your data. Currently there is no limitation in the Business and Enterprise package.

  • Do you have a sandbox to test first after going “live?

    Currently there is no Sandbox environment since the systems needs real data. But you can cancel your existing environment (Trial) at any time.

  • Is thalox for marketers also available as an agency model?

    If you are an agency please reach out to our sales team: Since every customer data is capsuled in their own database, we will not mix them up. But for sure if you bring us 10 customers at the same time there is a possibility for a discount

  • Is thalox for marketers connecting to other Marketing Automation Systems like HubSpot?

    It is on our roadmap. Please let us know which system you like to see:

  • Are my custom fields from HubSpot reflected in the algorithm?

    Absolutely yes.

  • Why do you show a density chart and a pie chart?

    If you love data the density chart gives you much more insights into your data. You will hopefully see over time that the peaks are going more into the direction of a wave.

  • Should I delete my contacts with no activities?

    There is no general recommendation for this question, since there could be many reasons for that. But we recommend having a closer look into those contacts.

  • Can I get marketing support from thalox?

    Our founders and most of our employees have a strong marketing background but we are no agency. What we do is interpreting your data when we jump on a call with you. At some Enterprise customers we also do some marketing support services but normally we recommend an agency from our network. Please reach out to us to see how we could help you:

  • Is there a discount of I subscribe to a full year?

    We think our pricing is very competitive. But there are sometimes promotions – please reach out to sales:

  • How many contacts do I need to get good results?

    We recommend > 500 contacts which at least 10 activities per contact

  • How often do you distribute new features?

    Currently we are running 3 weeks sprints which not always have new features included. Normally there a new small features deployed every quarter

  • Do I have to pay for new features?

    It depends on your plan. We will inform you as an active client if there is a change in your pricing model.
